Well, I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; I graduated from BYU in April '07 with a bachelor's degree in English Language; I'm planning to go into book publishing and writing; at the moment I work in the L. Tom Perry Special Collections at BYU, processing 19th-century manuscripts and managing the digital backlog project.
Favorite activities/interests: books, reading, writing, art, graphic/book/web design, girls who love books, learning, languages, history, the humanities, the sciences, typography, photography, piano, eventually violin, music composition, songwriting, genealogy, programming, math, etc., ad infinitum.
Favorite music: classical, showtunes, LDS/Christian, folk/bluegrass/country. More specifically, and in a jumbled and intentionally chaotic order, Pachelbel's "Canon in D", Rachmaninoff's "Rhapsody on a Theme by Paganini", Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, Albinoni's "Adagio in G Minor", Smetana's "The Moldau", Raiders March, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Narnia, Anne of Green Gables, Aida, Jane Eyre, The Secret Garden, The Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof, West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, Wicked, Anastasia, Les Miserables, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Jekyll & Hyde, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Tarzan, Harry Potter, Finding Neverland, Loreena McKennitt, Martina McBride. Basically anything but rap.
